Winning always takes teamwork, but on Friday Lexi Hazel stepped things up a notch to give Thornwell the 'W'. Hazel scored three runs and stole a base while getting on base in two of her three plate appearances, which was good enough to set a new career-high in runs.

Coming up, Hazel and Thornwell will look to defend their home field on Monday against Dixie at 4:15 p.m. Thornwell has been struggling at home and they will enter the game having lost six straight home games dating back to last season.
