Woodland had a rough outing against Crescent last Friday, but a little bit of home cooking seems to have fixed things right up. Everything went Woodland's way against Sayre on Friday as they made off with a 42-14 win. Woodland was expected to win, but the margin was definitely larger than the state rankings had forecast.
The win got Woodland back to even at 1-1. The loss started Sayre out at 0-1 for the season.
Woodland will look to defend their home turf next week against Pawhuska at 7:00 PM. Woodland continues their travels as they hit the road for the second straight game. As for Sayre, they will face off against Claude.
