Imagine Prep's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Richard Rodriguez led the charge by scoring 17 points along with eight rebounds and four steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Rodriguez has scored all season. Jaylen Cassidy was another key contributor, scoring 15 points along with four steals.
Imagine Prep pushed their record up to 17-2 with that win, which was their 19th straight at home dating back to last season. They've been dominating during the matches in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 31.4 points. As for ASU Prep, they have been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last nine matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-10 record this season.
Imagine Prep won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against the Bengals at 2:30 p.m. on February 2nd. Skyline Prep has now lost ten straight, and the team is hunting for their first win since December 2. As for ASU Prep, they will be playing at home against the Bulldogs at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
