Centennial secured a 33-29 W over Carlsbad. The win was nothing new for Centennial as they're now sitting on three straight.
Centennial's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Joy Hunt, who scored 13 points along with five rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Audi Torrez, who scored nine points along with five assists and five rebounds.
Centennial's victory ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 8-8. As for Carlsbad, they dropped their record down to 10-8 with that defeat, which was their third straight at home.
Centennial will head out on the road to challenge Alamogordo at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in New Mexico (Alamogordo is ranked 41st, while Centennial is ranked 23rd). As for Carlsbad, their homestand continues as they prepare to take on Lovington at 5:30 p.m. on January 23rd.
