Baseball Recap: Purcell Has No Trouble Against Cache

Purcell lost to Cache on Monday, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Tuesday. The Dragons were the clear victors by a 12-1 margin over the Bulldogs. Considering the Dragons have won 16 contests by more than six runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

Purcell is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 20-12 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.0 runs over those games. As for Cache, they moved to 11-13 with that defeat, which also ended their three-game winning streak.

Coming up, Purcell will square off against Washington at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Warriors will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more runs each game than the last. As for Cache, they are taking a road trip to face off against Altus at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
