This season hasn't been kind to the Bunnell Bulldogs, who are still winless after their 12th match. They were outmatched by Immaculate on the road and fell 78-26. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Bunnell in their matchups with Immaculate: they've now lost four in a row.
It was another big night for Kendra Foy, who scored 26 points along with four steals for Immaculate. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Foy has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Kaitlynn Kenna, who dropped a double-double on 12 points and 13 rebounds.
Bunnell's loss was their 12th straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-12. That rough patch could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 25.1 points per game. As for Immaculate, the victory makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 9-4.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Bunnell will take on Notre Dame Catholic at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Hopefully Notre Dame Catholic focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up nine last Wednesday. As for Immaculate, they will stay at home for another game and welcome Masuk at 7:00 p.m. on January 29th. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Connecticut (Masuk is ranked 19th, while Immaculate is ranked 27th).
