Donahue Catholic really took it to Everglades City for the full four quarters, racking up a 58-10 victory on the road. With Donahue Catholic ahead 33-6 at the half, the contest was all but over already.
Donahue Catholic got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Veronica Halisky out in front who scored 8 points along with 9 rebounds. Mary Halisky was another key contributor, scoring 12 points.
Marco Island Academy's loss dropped their record down to 0-1. As for Donahue Catholic, the win got them back to even at 2-2.
