Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Central). They enjoyed a cozy 42-24 win over the False River Gators on Friday. The victory was some much needed relief for the Panthers as it spelled an end to their seven-game losing streak dating back to last season.

Central's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-6. As for False River, they have been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last seven games, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-9 record this season.

Central does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for False River, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 57-18 loss against Central Private on the 13th.
