Texas City had a senior duo take command as Anson Johnson jr scored 14 points along with 9 rebounds and Glenn Parker scored 13 points along with 7 rebounds. That makes it three consecutive games in which Johnson jr has scored at least 25% of Texas City's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Ronald Williams, who scored 4 points.
Clear Creek's defeat dropped their record down to 11-4. As for Texas City, the victory got them back to even at 4-4.
Clear Creek will head out on the road to face off against Pearland at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Texas (Pearland is ranked 236th, while Clear Creek is ranked 250th). As for Texas City, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Stafford at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Stafford will be coming into the contest with an undefeated record on the line.
