Cresskill has been on the road for two straight, but on Tuesday they'll finally head home. They will take on the Lyndhurst Golden Bears at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
Last Thursday, Cresskill was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap as they fell 43-37 to the Bulldogs.
Meanwhile, Lyndhurst didn't have too much trouble with the Lions on the road on Saturday as they won 58-39. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Lyndhurst.
Lyndhurst found their leader in underclassman Brooke Harper, who dropped a double-double on 29 points and 13 rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Harper has scored all season. Asya Akar was another key contributor, scoring 19 points along with seven rebounds and two steals.
Cresskill's defeat dropped their record down to 12-7-1. As for Lyndhurst, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven matches, which provided a nice bump to their 16-5 record this season.
Cresskill took their victory against the Golden Bears when the teams last played back in January of 2023 by a conclusive 57-36. Does Cresskill have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Golden Bears turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
