T.C. Roberson is 10-0 against Erwin since January of 2021 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Friday. The T.C. Roberson Rams will be playing in front of their home fans against the Erwin Warriors at 8:00 p.m. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, both will really light up the scoreboard.
Last Tuesday, T.C. Roberson strolled past Asheville with points to spare, taking the game 87-68. The Rams pushed the score to 65-39 by the end of the third, a deficit the Cougars cut but never quite recovered from.

Dean Lowe continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, dropping a double-double on 33 points and 13 rebounds. His evening made it three games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Jayden Specht-Mitchell, who dropped a double-double on ten points and ten boards.
T.C. Roberson smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 22 offensive rebounds. That's the most offensive boards they've posted since back in January of 2024.
Meanwhile, Erwin came up short against A.C. Reynolds on Tuesday and fell 71-63. While losing is never fun, the Warriors can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina basketball rankings (they are ranked 393rd, while the Rockets are ranked 141st).
T.C. Roberson will have to contain Carson Wallace as he made an impact in Erwin's last game. He went 10 for 18 en route to 30 points and eight rebounds. Wallace is on a roll when it comes to points, as he's now scored 26 or more in the last four games he's played. Jackson Davis was another key player, putting up ten points.
Erwin dropped their record down to 10-11 with the loss, which was their third straight on the road. As for T.C. Roberson, the win made it two in a row for them and also bumps their season record up to 10-11.
Some high-performance offense is likely on the agenda as the two teams are some of the highest scoring teams in the league. T.C. Roberson hasn't had any problem running up the score this season, having averaged 59.2 points per game. However, it's not like Erwin struggles in that department as they've been averaging 64.1 points. With both teams so easily able to put up points, the only question left is who can run the score up higher.
Everything came up roses for T.C. Roberson against Erwin in their previous meeting back in January, as the squad secured a 90-63 victory. Does T.C. Roberson have another victory up their sleeve, or will Erwin turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
