Riverton's win was their first in the region, bumping their region record up to 1-3 and their overall record up to 10-6. As for Corner Canyon, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 11-6 record this season.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Riverton will venture away from home to square off against Herriman at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
