McBain came tearing into Friday's game with five straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 24.4 points), and they left with even more momentum. They blew past the Houghton Lake Bobcats 68-29. The Ramblers have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 15 matches by 20 points or more this season.

McBain's win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 22-2. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 67.3 points over those games. As for Houghton Lake, their loss dropped their record down to 12-14.

Coming up, McBain will take on Pine River Area in a tournament on Tuesday. McBain has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games. Houghton Lake does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
