Fitch is 7-2 against Ledyard since November of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. After each having a week off, the two teams will shake off the rust and duke it out at 6:00 p.m. The two teams are sauntering into the matchup backed by comfortable wins in their prior games.
Fitch is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They really took it to New London for the full four quarters, racking up a 45-0 victory. The team's explosion on offense also rewarded the Falcons with their most commanding win of the season.

Camrin Lee-Fry was the offensive standout of the game as he picked up 55 receiving yards and a pair of touchdowns. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in receiving touchdowns (two).
Fitch didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. In fact, those interceptions all came courtesy of defensive juggernaut Lee-Fry.
Meanwhile, Ledyard waltzed into their matchup last Friday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They took their contest with ease, bagging a 63-24 win over the Bears. The Colonels might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won five games by 23 points or more this season.
Fitch better keep an eye on Jackson Favry. He was instrumental in Ledyard's win, rushing for 243 yards and three scores while picking up 13.5 yards per carry. Favry's rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his third straight game with at least 243 rushing yards. Another player making a difference was Jackson Grimm, who rushed for 80 yards and a pair of TDs on only nine carries.
Ledyard was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 442 rushing yards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now rushed for at least 155 rushing yards every time they've taken the field this season.
Ledyard's record now sits at 7-2. As for Fitch, they now have a winning record of 5-4.
Thursday's matchup might be decided on the ground. Fitch has been excellent on the ground this season, having averaged 165.3 rushing yards per game. However, it's not like Ledyard struggles in that department as they've been averaging 359.1 rushing yards. There's a good chance Thursday's contest turns into a tough fight on the ground.
Fitch came up short against Ledyard when the teams last played back in November of 2024, falling 20-14. Thankfully for the Falcons, Anthony Adamick (who rushed for 179 yards and three touchdowns) won't be suiting up this time. Will that be enough to change the final result? There's only one way to find out.
