Softball Recap: Dixie's Losing Streak Is a Thing of the Past

Dixie can bid farewell to their six-game losing streak thanks to their game on Wednesday. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past the Twin Valley South Panthers 5-4. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Greyhounds also won the last time the pair played back in April of 2023.

Dixie's win was their first in the conference, bumping their conference record up to 1-3 and their overall record up to 2-7. As for Twin Valley South, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-8.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Dixie is set to square off against their familiar foe Mississinawa Valley at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Twin Valley South will challenge rival Bradford at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
