The Cordell Blue Devils lost against the Mangum Tigers back in October of 2022, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. Cordell was beaten by Mangum 76-6. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Cordell in their matchups with Mangum: they've now lost three in a row.
Austin Solis was the offensive standout of the matchup as he rushed for 89 yards and three touchdowns on only nine carries. Anthony Allen got in on the action too, converting a pick into a touchdown.
Cordell's defeat dropped their record down to 0-8. As for Mangum, they have traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost three of their last four matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-2 record this season.
Cordell does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Mangum is also done with their season.
