Lakewood was led to victory by Josiah "Jojo" Apisala and Kade Casillas. Apisala rushed for 156 yards and two touchdowns, while Casillas rushed for 100 yards. Casillas got the majority of those yards when he took off on a run and that went for an incredible71 yards.
Carlsbad will look to take advantage of their home-field for the first time this season as they take on Palos Verdes at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Lakewood, they will hit the road for the first time this season to face off against St. Anthony at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
