Bexley barely beat Whetstone the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Lions' pitchers stepped up to hand the Braves an 8-0 shutout on Tuesday. The Lions might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won eight matchups by eight runs or more this season.

The win snapped Bexley's losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 16-6 record. As for Whetstone, their defeat ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 14-5.

Coming up, Bexley will face off against St. Charles at 5:15 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Whetstone, they will square off against Hayes at 5:15 p.m. on Wednesday. The Pacers' pitching crew has only allowed 3.1 runs per game this season, so the Braves' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
