The Grand Traverse Academy Mustangs's game last Wednesday was a tough loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Friday. They took down Traverse City HomeSchool 41-26. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Grand Traverse Academy also won the last time the pair played back in February of 2023.
Grand Traverse Academy's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Megan Pavwoski, who dropped a double-double on 12 points and ten rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Alleah Dix, who scored four points along with eight assists and seven steals.
Grand Traverse Academy's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 4-4. As for Traverse City HomeSchool, they now have a losing record at 1-2.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Grand Traverse Academy will face off against Catholic Central at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Traverse City HomeSchool will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Suttons Bay at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
