The 6-foot-4 combo guard connected on 14 of 20 field goal attempts, knocked down 5 of 9 3-point attempts and converted on 11 of 13 shots from the free throw line to help the Mustangs move to 2-0 in pool play.
Burries is averaging 29.6 points, 9.0 rebounds, 3.6 assists and 2.9 steals per contest for the season, shooting 56.3 percent from the field, 34.1 percent from 3-point range and 83 percent from the free throw line.

Despite playing the guard position, Burries has piled up 13 double-doubles this season. He has scored 43 or more points in a game four times this season and set
a new career-high with 56 points in a win over Inglewood back in
December.
Regarded as the No. 11 prospect in the Class of 2025 according to
247Sports, Burries is expected to choose between Alabama, Arizona, Oregon, SMU, Tennessee and USC.
