The Woodland Wildcats's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their eighth straight defeat. They had to suffer through a rough 76-36 loss at the hands of Dalton. The defeat unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Woodland in their matchups with Dalton: they've now lost eight in a row.
Dalton's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Drew Snyder, who scored 18 points along with six rebounds. RJ Storey was another key contributor, scoring 13 points along with three steals.
Woodland has not been sharp recently as the team's lost nine of their last ten games, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-16 record this season. As for Dalton, the victory (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 12-12.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Woodland will take on Cass at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Woodland is on a four-game streak of home losses, Cass a four-game streak of away losses, but someone's luck is about to change. Dalton will take on Calhoun at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Calhoun knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with flashy point totals in its past five games -- so hopefully Dalton likes a good challenge.
