San Marcos Academy has relied on a stalwart defense averaging 16 points allowed per game, but that average took a hit on Friday. They were dealt a punishing 49-0 loss at the hands of Geneva. The defeat was a vexing one since San Marcos Academy was expected to win based on their ranking.
This is the second loss in a row for the Bears and nudges their record down to 6-4. The win was the fourth in a row for Geneva and raised their record to 5-4.
San Marcos Academy does not have any more games currently scheduled. As for Geneva, they will go up against Reicher Catholic at 7:30 p.m. ET next week. Those two teams have set a high bar for this game after stand-out offensive performances in their previous contest
