The Legacy Christian Academy Knights waltzed into their game on Tuesday with two straight wins but they left with three. They walked away with a 64-53 victory over Emmanuel Christian Academy. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Legacy Christian Academy also won the last time the pair played back in December of 2023.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Legacy Christian Academy to victory, but perhaps none more so than Parker Burke, who scored 27 points along with eight rebounds and five assists. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Burke has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Jacob Thompson, who dropped a double-double on 12 points and 16 rebounds.
Legacy Christian Academy has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six contests, which provided a nice bump to their 10-3 record this season. As for Emmanuel Christian Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 6-9.
Legacy Christian Academy will stay at home for another game and welcome Cincinnati Trailblazers HomeSchool at 7:00 p.m. on January 19th. Hopefully Cincinnati Trailblazers HomeSchool focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 12 last Saturday. As for Emmanuel Christian Academy, they will head out on the road to square off against Dayton Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
