The Long Reach Lightning were the 29-0 winner over the Reservoir 'Gators when they last played one another back in September of 2022, but their luck changed this time around. Long Reach and Reservoir were almost perfectly matched up on Thursday, but Long Reach suffered an agonizing 28-27 defeat.
Reservoir's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Kevin Sisk, who rushed for 99 yards. Adrian Alvarado and his 94 yards on the ground were also a key factor in Reservoir's win.
Long Reach has been struggling recently, as they've lost four of their last five contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-3 record this season. As for Reservoir, their win bumped their record up to 6-2.
