Dollar Bay got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Jackson Vondoloski out in front who scored 19 points along with eight rebounds and six steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Vondoloski has scored all season. Liam Tourtillott was another key contributor, scoring 24 points along with seven rebounds and seven steals.
L'Anse's defeat was their 12th straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-16. As for Dollar Bay, their victory bumped their record up to 7-11.
L'Anse will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Lake Linden-Hubbell at 7:30 p.m. Lake Linden-Hubbellpresents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than L'Anse in Michigan (Lake Linden-Hubbell is ranked 151st, while L'Anse is ranked 726th). As for Dollar Bay, they will head out on the road to take on Calumet at 7:15 p.m. on Monday. Hopefully Dollar Bay focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up ten on Friday.
