Valley View is 0-8 against the Bulldogs since January of 2021 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. The Valley View Tigers will be playing in front of their home fans against the McAllen Bulldogs at 6:00 p.m. Valley View comes in still looking for their first win of the season.
Last Friday, Valley View took a serious blow against the Raiders, falling 77-10. Valley View has not had much luck with the Raiders recently, as the team's come up short the last six times they've met.
Meanwhile, McAllen earned a 45-32 victory over the Rattlers on Friday. The win was just what McAllen needed coming off of a 54-30 loss in their prior contest.
McAllen got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Cianni Bowen out in front who scored six points along with nine steals. Another player making a difference was Lola Mallard, who scored 16 points along with six rebounds.
Valley View's loss was their 16th straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-19. As for McAllen, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches, which provided a massive bump to their 19-17 record this season.
