Chaminade moved up to 55 from 99 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in Metro Catholic. The Red Devils climbed the ranks as a result of defeating Rockwood Summit 30-28.
Chaminade and the Falcons played the closest game in the league this week, with Chaminade eventually emerging with a 30-28 victory.
DeSmet Jesuit's offense was tough to stop this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. Scott Sinovich threw for 120 yards and Timothy Weber had 65 yards receiving. On the ground Marcus Jester contributed 90 yards. Jester helped DeSmet Jesuit's passing attack out by catching 2 balls for 31 yards.
