Cody Bingham-Hendricks and Malik Lee provided fans with a highlight when they connected against Norwell. The connection was good for 61 yards, the longest such play in South Shore this season.
Jared Taylor of Mashpee ran for the longest rushing play in the league this season against the Clippers last week. Taylor scampered for 59 yards on the play and finished with 144 on the day as his team beat Norwell.
Thanks to the talents of Bingham-Hendricks and Taylor Mashpee has been able to do all sorts of things on offense. Bingham-Hendricks leads the league in passing with 485 yards, while Taylor has rushed for 601 yards this season. Cohasset's Shane Haggerty leads the league in receiving yards with 183 on nine catches.
Rockland was the team that gained the most ground in the standings this week, jumping from sixth to fourth in the league. Earlier in the week, the Bulldogs defeated Hull 21-7.
