The Urbana Hillclimbers won against the London Red Raiders last Wednesday with 53 points and they decided to stick to that point total again on Saturday. Urbana strolled past the Red Raiders with points to spare, taking the game 53-34. That's another feather in the cap for Urbana, who also won these teams' last head-to-head.
It was another big night for Peyton Mounce, who dropped a double-double on 33 points and 15 rebounds. She has been hot recently, having posted two or more blocks the last 19 times she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Alisabeth Upchurch, who scored eight points along with two steals.
The win makes it two in a row for Urbana and bumps their season record up to 16-5. As for London, their defeat dropped their record down to 12-8.
Urbana will be playing in front of their home fans against the Arrows at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for London, they will head out on the road to challenge the Pioneers at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
