Stuart Hall put another one in the bag on Monday to keep their perfect season alive. They managed a 66-60 victory over the Miller School of Albemarle Mavericks. Given the Dragons' advantage in MaxPreps' Virginia basketball rankings (they are ranked fifth, while the Mavericks are ranked 60th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Miller School of Albemarle's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Ryan Crotty, who posted 21 points and eight rebounds. Crotty is trending in the right direction considering he's improved his point production for three straight games. The team also got some help courtesy of Jaylen Dyer, who went 7 of 11 on his way to 16 points.

Stuart Hall's win bumped their record up to 5-0. As for Miller School of Albemarle, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-5.

Stuart Hall wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, an 87-54 victory against Tandem Friends on the 13th. As for Miller School of Albemarle, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, an 87-34 win against Eastern Mennonite on the 12th.
