 Polytechnic took a 2-1 lead headed into the fourth set, but sadly they lost the next two. The match finished with set scores of 25-22, 21-25, 21-25, 25-18,  15-9.
 Leading Saugus to victory were  Emily Tran and  Bailey Posey.  Tran  had 23  digs and three  aces, while  Posey  had 14  assists and seven  digs. That's the most  digs  Tran has posted since back in September.
Polytechnic has  traveled a rocky road recently, having  lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 17-6 record  this season. As for Saugus, they pushed their record up to 32-7 with the  win, which was their third straight  at home.
 Polytechnic does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Saugus, they will challenge St. Margaret's at 5:15  p.m.  on Wednesday.
