On Friday, Viborg/Hurley is packing up and heading on the road for the first time this season. They face off against Menno/Marion at 7:00 PM. Both teams will be looking for a pick-me-up after considerable defeats in their previous games.
Last Friday, Viborg/Hurley couldn't capitalize on their home-field advantage in their season opener. They were given a punishing 14-52 loss at the hands of Irene/Wakonda. Viborg/Hurley were down by 14-44 at the end of the third quarter, which was just too much to recover from.
Meanwhile, Menno/Marion had to kick off their season with an away game, and unfortunately wound up with a long bus ride home. They were given a punishing 6-52 defeat at the hands of Canistota/Freeman.
