North Jersey - Meadowlands recap November 5, 2013
Adding to the longest winning streak in North Jersey - Meadowlands this week, Hasbrouck Heights beat Palisades Park/Leonia 45-21. The victory was the eighth in a row for the Aviators.
Queen of Peace took down North Arlington 42-6 last week, the largest margin of any game. Kevin Momnohin ran for 270 yards during the win.
Momnohin was a passing and rushing force as the Golden Griffins beat the Vikings.
Momnohin was a force in the backfield as Queen of Peace bested North Arlington.
Momnohin was the most successful running back in the league this week. In 8 carries, he ran for 270 yards as Bob Kearns' team fell to Waldwick/Midland Park. Teammate Brandon Cummings added to the ground attack by rushing for 48 yards.
The Wildcats' Karriem Royster and Penna led the league in both passing and receiving yards. Royster has thrown for 1,432 yards this season, while Penna has 53 catches for 669 yards. The Golden Griffins' Momnohin leads the league in rushing yards with 1,654.
