Glen Ridge has been on the road for two straight, but on Tuesday they'll finally head home. They will take on the American History Bald Eagles at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Glen Ridge will be strutting in after a victory while American History will be coming in after a loss.
Glen Ridge posted their closest victory yet this season on Saturday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against Cedar Grove and snuck past 53-51.
Meanwhile, American History pushed their score all the way to 72 on Saturday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They took a 78-72 hit to the loss column at the hands of Montclair Kimberley Academy. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their last game on Thursday (61), American History still had to take the loss.
Even though the team lost, they still had their share of impressive performances. One of the most dominant came from Ahmad Woodard, who scored 20 points along with seven steals and five assists. The team also got some help courtesy of Ah'Zeah Woodard, who scored 18 points along with five steals.
Glen Ridge now has a winning record of 7-6. As for American History, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 7-4.
