The Alpaugh Buffalos were the 47-41 winner over the Riverdale Christian Ambassadors when they last played one another back in February of 2023, but their luck changed this time around. Alpaugh took a 52-37 bruising from Riverdale Christian on Friday.
Alpaugh's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Luis Vasquez, who scored 13 points.
Alpaugh's loss dropped their record down to 8-6. As for Riverdale Christian, the victory got them back to even at 5-5.
Alpaugh will head out on the road to take on Kern Resource Center at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Riverdale Christian, they will look to defend their home court on Friday against Kings Christian at 6:30 p.m.
