Christian Home Educators was beaten by East Texas Homeschool Sports 72-43. Christian Home Educators was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 43-19.
Christian Home Educators lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Caleb Oglesby, who scored 11 points. Caleb Koster was another key contributor, scoring ten points.
East Texas Homeschool Sports' success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Will Mason led the charge by scoring 14 points along with five rebounds and three steals. Mason hasn't dropped below two steals for eight straight games. Another player making a difference was Issac Hill, who scored 15 points along with five rebounds.
Christian Home Educators' defeat dropped their record down to 16-15. As for East Texas Homeschool Sports, their win bumped their record up to 17-8.
Christian Home Educators will take on Johnson County Sports Association at 9:00 a.m. on Thursday. Johnson County Sports Association is coming into the contest with five straight losses on the road, meaning Christian Home Educators will have to defend against a squad hungry for a win. As for East Texas Homeschool Sports, they will be playing at home against Christian Heritage at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
