The Annapolis Area Christian Eagles had to endure a four-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They snuck past Indian Creek with a 62-56 victory on Wednesday. Annapolis Area Christian's offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.
Aiden Evans and Sefton Robinson certainly did their best on Wednesday to try and avoid the loss. Evans scored 20 points, while Robinson scored 16 points. The game was Evans' fourth in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Kingston Amin, who scored seven points.
Annapolis Area Christian's win bumped their record up to 1-4. As for Indian Creek, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-5.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Annapolis Area Christian will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Archbishop Curley at 7:00 p.m. on January 5, 2024. Indian Creek will be home for the holidays to greet Chesapeake Science Point at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
