South Summit got a massive performance out of Owen Mair, who went a perfect 4-for-4 with two stolen bases, three RBI, and two runs. That's the most runs Mair has posted since back in April of 2024. Another player making a difference was Ammen Marchant, who got on base in four of his five plate appearances with one home run, three runs, and four RBI.
South Summit's victory was their first in the region, bumping their region record up to 1-2 and their overall record up to 4-8. As for Ben Lomond, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-8.
South Summit will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Scots: the pair will be back at it again later today.
