The Madison Comprehensive Rams's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their 16th straight loss. They fell just short of Wooster by a score of 44-41. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest loss Madison Comprehensive has suffered since January 5th.
Wooster can attribute much of their success to Anthony Carmean, who scored 16 points along with five rebounds. Aidan Holford was another key contributor, scoring two points along with six rebounds and five assists.
Madison Comprehensive dropped their record down to 1-18 with that loss, which was their ninth straight at home. As for Wooster, their win bumped their record up to 7-12.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Madison Comprehensive will take on Mansfield Senior at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. Mansfield Seniorpresents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Madison Comprehensive in Ohio (Mansfield Senior is ranked 106th, while Madison Comprehensive is ranked 627th). As for Wooster, they will be playing at home against Copley at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Copley has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 194 points over their last three matches.
