KACHEA had already won six in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 21.7 points) and they went ahead and made it seven on Thursday. They claimed a resounding 77-40 win over the Fredericksburg V Victory. The Wildcats have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 11 games by 21 points or more this season.

KACHEA's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Noah Coclough, who almost dropped a triple-double with 21 points, nine rebounds, and 11 steals. Coclough is becoming a predictor of KACHEA's success: when he posts at least three steals the team is 17-2 (and 5-11 when he doesn't). The team also got some help courtesy of Grant Thompson, who went 8-for-14 to rack up 23 points in addition to eight assists and three steals.

KACHEA was working as a unit and finished the game with 17 assists. They are 20-7 when they've passed the ball that well.

KACHEA's win bumped their record up to 22-13. As for Fredericksburg V, their loss dropped their record down to 14-19.

KACHEA wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 57-44 victory against Frederick W on the 6th. As for Fredericksburg V, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 58-49 defeat against Chatham HomeSchool on the 7th.
