League recap: Beecher scores huge upset over Johnson

The biggest upset of the week belonged to Johnson, who took down 332nd ranked Johnson, 21-20.

Beecher moved up to 381 from 431 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in Genesee Area - Red. The Buccaneers were able to make the jump by topping the Panthers 21-20.

Johnson's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Panthers feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Tony Saldona has thrown for 796 yards and three touchdowns this season, while Tyler Patterson has 27 catches for 321 yards. Equandre Jackson leads the league in rushing with 371 yards.

Lake Fenton extended the longest winning streak in the league this week by beating Durand, 70-6. The win marks seventh in a row for the the Blue Devils.
