The Hanover Central Wildcats will take on the Highland Trojans at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. Hanover Central is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.7 runs per game this season.
On Saturday, Hanover Central was able to grind out a solid win over Cathedral, taking the game 5-1. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Wildcats.

Ian Flores looked comfortable as he tossed 3.2 innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than two hits any time he's pitched this season.
On the hitting side, Landon Sarkey was excellent, going 2-for-4 with one triple, one run, and one RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Aiden Creasbaum, who went 1-for-3 with two runs, one stolen base, and one double.
Meanwhile, Highland owes their pitching crew a big pat on the back after their performance on Friday. They put the hurt on Whiting with a sharp 6-0 victory.
The team relied heavily on Cash Washick, who got on base in three of his four plate appearances with two runs, one triple, and one RBI. He has become a key player for Highland: the team is undefeated when he posts at least two runs, but 0-5 otherwise. Jakob Burleson was another key player, going 1-for-2 with one home run and two RBI.
Highland's win bumped their record up to 3-5. As for Hanover Central, their victory bumped their record up to 8-2.
Highland's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: Hanover Central hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .329. It's a different story for Highland, though, as they've only averaged .223. Will they be able to contain Hanover Central's hitters?
