St. Francis Borgia is a perfect 9-0 against St. Clair since April of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Monday. The Knights will host the Bulldogs at 4:00 p.m. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this contest.

For whatever reason, it's the away team that's had the advantage when St. Francis Borgia and Washington meet (four straight games heading into this one) and that held true again on Friday. The Knights fell 11-6 to the Bluejays. While the Knights didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Bluejays 5-0 in the first period.

Brody O'Hanlon was cooking despite his team's loss, going 2-for-3 with two RBI, one run, and one double.

North County hit St. Clair with a four-run second inning on Friday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Bulldogs wound up with the same score they had in their last game (6-3), but sadly the team found themselves on the wrong side of the score this time. They haven't had much luck with the Raiders recently, as the team has come up short the last seven times they've met.

Nate Short made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went a perfect 3-for-3 with two stolen bases, two runs, and one double. He has been hot recently, having posted two or more stolen bases the last four times he's played.

St. Francis Borgia has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 11-11 record this season. As for St. Clair, their loss dropped their record down to 8-10.

Everything went St. Francis Borgia's way against St. Clair in their previous matchup back in April of 2024, as St. Francis Borgia made off with a 13-0 win. Do the Knights have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Bulldogs turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
