After two weeks on the road, Medina/Webber/Barker is heading back home. On Friday they take on Albion at 7:30 PM. Medina/Webber/Barker are limping into the contest on a three-game losing streak.
Medina/Webber/Barker might have drawn first blood against Lackawanna last Saturday, but it was Lackawanna who got the last laugh. It was close but no cigar for Medina/Webber/Barker as they fell 26-28 to Lackawanna. Defeat or not, Medina/Webber/Barker got some senior leadership from William Braswell, who rushed for 66 yards and 2 touchdowns, and Izaiah Rhim, who accumulated 124 passing yards and punched in 1 rushing TD. In fact, with 11 tackles Prest was a force on both sides of the ball.
Meanwhile, there's no need to mince words: Albion lost to Iroquois, and they lost bad. The score wound up at 20-56. The result was totally at odds with the teams' state rankings as Albion enjoys a hefty 302 spot advantage.
With both teams hitting sour notes in their previous games, they will no doubt be looking to produce a better outcome in this one. If Albion want to win, Albion will need to focus on stopping Medina/Webber/Barker's senior William Braswell, who rushed for 66 yards and 2 touchdowns, and senior Izaiah Rhim, who accumulated 124 passing yards and punched in 1 rushing TD. We'll see whether or not they are up to the challenge.
