The Tse' Yi' Gai Dine Warriors will be staying on the road on Thursday to face off against the Legacy Academy Silverbacks at 6:30 p.m. on February 1st. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.
Last Tuesday, Tse' Yi' Gai lost to the Warriors on the road by a decisive 55-36 margin. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Tse' Yi' Gai in their matchups with the Warriors: they've now lost six in a row.
Tse' Yi' Gai's defeat came about despite a quality game from Alicia Ramon, who scored 13 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Ramon has scored all season. Brienna Toledo was another key contributor, scoring eight points.
Meanwhile, Legacy Academy was the victim of a tough 69-45 defeat at the hands of the Warriors on Monday.
Tse' Yi' Gai's loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 9-5. As for Legacy Academy, they now have a losing record at 7-8.
Tse' Yi' Gai came up short against the Silverbacks in their previous meeting back in December of 2022, falling 34-30. Can Tse' Yi' Gai avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
