Bloom won the last time they faced Thornton and things went their way on Monday too. The Blazing Trojan put the hurt on the Wildcats with a sharp 18-1 win. The result was nothing new for the Blazing Trojan, who have now won 13 games by seven runs or more so far this season.

Bloom's victory bumped their record up to 14-10. As for Thornton, they dropped their record down to 2-15 with the defeat, which was their third straight at home.

Looking ahead, Bloom will take on Crete-Monee at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Thornton will be paying especially close attention to the Blazing Trojan's contest: after the Blazing Trojan face off against the Warriors, they'll take on Thornton again at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
