It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but the Marathon Dolphins had no problem doing just that on Monday. They strolled past the Panther with points to spare, taking the game 60-43. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Marathon.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Marathon to victory, but perhaps none more so than CARLOS LEZCANO, who scored 17 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points LEZCANO has scored all season. ADRIAN CRUZ was another key contributor, scoring 15 points along with eight assists.
Marathon's win ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 7-18. As for Everglades Prep Academy, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-9.
Marathon won't have much time to rest: their next game is against the Bulldogs at 7:00 p.m. on February 6th. Riviera Prep has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 846 points over their last 12 matches. Everglades Prep Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
