The Flatirons Academy Bison were the 34-8 winner over the Estes Park Bobcats when they last played one another back in October of 2022, but their luck changed this time around. Flatirons Academy had to suffer through a rough 48-14 loss at the hands of Estes Park. Flatirons Academy has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
When it comes to explaining why Flatirons Academy lost on Friday, one person who can't be blamed is Judah Burgess. Despite the final result, he rushed for 80 yards and a touchdown. Burgess really tore up the turf during one magnificent 80-yard run.
Estes Park was led to victory by Jose Gonzalez and Ryland Reetz. Gonzalez gained 139 total yards and three touchdowns, while Reetz rushed for 51 yards and three touchdowns. Matthew Asche also helped out with an impressive 104 receiving yards.
Flatirons Academy has not been sharp recently, as they've lost three of their last four matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-5 record this season. As for Estes Park, they now have a winning record of 5-4.
Flatirons Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Estes Park also has no future games currently scheduled.
