The Terrell County Greenwave won the last time they faced the Randolph-Clay Red Devils, and things went their way on Saturday too. Terrell County walked away with a 47-34 victory over Randolph-Clay. The win made it back-to-back wins for Terrell County.
Tadreuna Rogers was her usual excellent self, scoring 18 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points she has scored all season. Ciara Harvey was another key contributor, scoring nine points.
Randolph-Clay lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Desiree Smith, who scored 12 points. Another player making a difference was Akia Seymore, who scored 11 points.
Terrell County's win bumped their record up to 10-4. As for Randolph-Clay, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-5.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Terrell County will take on Miller County at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Miller County will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Georgia Rankings (they are ranked 419th, while Terrell County is ranked 177th). As for Randolph-Clay, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Early County at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Early County's defense has only allowed 28.5 points per game this season, so Randolph-Clay's offense will have their work cut out for them.
