Ranburne won against Cleburne County  on Friday with six  runs and they decided to stick to that  run total again  on Saturday. The Bulldogs beat the Weaver Bearcats by the very same score they won with in their prior game:  6-3. The  win was familiar territory for the Bulldogs, who have now won three  matches in a row.
 Shaylie Reaves spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered three earned runs on five hits.
 On the hitting side,  the team  relied heavily on  Autumn Lovvorn, who  went 1-for-4 with one  home run, three  RBI,  and two  runs. That's the most  RBI  she has posted  over her last nine  games. The team also got some help courtesy of  Rylie Duke, who  went 1-for-2 with one  stolen base and two  RBI.
Ranburne's victory was  their third straight on the road, which  pushed their record up to 14-13. The  road  wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 8.3 runs over those games. As for Weaver, they have  traveled a rocky road recently, having  lost six of their last seven contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 9-13 record  this season.
 Both  teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Ranburne will challenge Handley at 5:00  p.m.  on Monday. The Bulldogs are facing the Tigers at the right time seeing as the Tigers are stuck on  an  eight-game losing streak. As for Weaver, they will take on Ashville at 5:00  p.m.  on Tuesday.
